"The training and development of our staff is crucial for us in a competitive market in order to provide the levels of expertise and added value services expected from our customers.

We have invested in and implemented a "Development Academy" for our people that cover many of the skills they require to deliver their roles.

Part of the Development Academy included providing our Field Sales team with first class sales process delivery.

Having partnered with Rapport Training previously we engaged Martin to work alongside us to build a relevant and realistic up to date sales training programme.

It was important to us that we were able to physically assess the training delivery and to determine that the sales team were able to reach exacting standards.

Martin was able to develop that assessment process and to acheive the training outcomes we required from the outset.

The feedback from the team was excellent and I am certain that we will be working again with Martin in the future.

We approached Rapport Training ltd with one main request in mind:

"Help our company communicate more effectively".

Our organisation specialises in the installation and maintenance of Fire Safety systems.

The legal compliance requirements around Fire Safety place many responsibilities on all companies and our expert services are much in demand.

In fact we have as they say become "victims of our own success". That success has bought with it added pressures on our team to continue to deliver the high levels of customer service that we aspire to.

Martin was sure that he could help.

He requested "one to one" interviews with both me and my Co Director, Managers and team members.

We were asked to provide frank and honest feedback about a number of key issues that affected our daily activities and behaviours within the company.

Following this report two key training workshops were developed, "Leadership Essentials" and "High Performing Teams".

The work we undertook enabled us to re-focus our efforts on our strategy and behaviour and saw us implementing a number of key initiatives which have had a really positive impact on the quality and effectiveness of our communication.

The work we have started will not end there, it is very much "work in progress".
